PERMACULTURE/SUSTAINABILITY FACILITATOR AND CURRICULUM DEVELOPER
I am exited to use my experience in permaculture, communication, curriculum design and facilitation to help make programming accessible, informative, profound and enjoyable for teachers and students alike. I particularly love hosting workshops on Social Permaculture, but I have presented Intro To Permaculture workshops as well as taught classes on topics such as composting and mulching. For curriculum design, I am comfortable with many computer-based platforms and programs and can work remotely or as part of a local team. Please contact me directly if you would like to propose a collaboration. My rates are negotiable based on the scope and budget of the project and my own needs and boundaries.
I have been making visual art and writing poetry for as long as I can remember. I have previously illustrated a children's book and have sold my artwork on a sliding scale for many years. I have also had a few small shows and have sold my work in gallery gift shops and farmers markets. I'd love to work on more books, websites, zines or other projects as a contributing artist! I would also be happy to contribute some of my poetry towards a collaborative collection.
I have always loved writing and found it a powerful way to convey ideas. I have published articles in the local newspaper, cultural media, and online. I have also blogged for several small businesses, usually about topics related in some way to sustainability, and also posted on my own blog Lucie Bardos Through The Looking Glass for several years. I am now looking for new ways to pen to paper (or fingers to the keyboard - let's be realistic!) in a way that is collaborative and innovative. My favourite subjects to write about are culture, the human dimensions of sustainability, justice and intersectional perspectives, feminism, and lived experience. My rates are negotiable based on the scope and budget of the project and my own needs and boundaries.
