PERMACULTURE/SUSTAINABILITY FACILITATOR AND CURRICULUM DEVELOPER
I am exited to use my experience in permaculture, curriculum design and facilitation to help make programming accessible, informative, and enjoyable for teachers and students alike. I have experience designing curricula, teaching, and facilitating courses on permaculture, languages, culinary and farm skills. For curriculum design, I am comfortable with many computer-based platforms and programs and can work remotely or as part of a local team. Please contact me directly if you would like to propose a collaboration. My rates are negotiable based on the scope and budget of the project and my own needs and boundaries.
I have been making visual art and writing poetry for as long as I can remember. I have previously illustrated a children's book and have sold my artwork on a sliding scale for many years. I have also had a few shows and have sold my work in gallery gift shops and farmers markets. I've just finished illustrating a colouring book for the Permaculture Women’s Guild and I would love to work on more books, websites, zines or other projects as a contributing artist! I would also be happy to contribute some of my poetry towards a collaborative collection. Click below to view my portfolio.
I have always loved writing and found it a powerful way to convey ideas. I have published articles in the local newspaper, cultural media, and online. I have also blogged for several small businesses, usually about topics related in some way to sustainability. Most recently, I have been contributing to Permaculture Women Magazine on Medium. I am always looking for new ways to pen to paper (or fingers to the keyboard - let's be realistic!) in a way that is innovative. My favourite subjects to write about are (perma)culture, the human dimensions of sustainability, and feminist perspectives. My rates are negotiable based on the scope and budget of the project and my own needs and boundaries.
