Lucie has always loved expressing herself and communicating with people via artwork. She prefers to work with acrylics or ink & paper, and her style has often been described as “whimsical”, and “otherworldly”.
In the past, she has shown her artwork at several venues and has sold pieces at the Seymour Art Gallery gift shop in North Vancouver, BC. In 2018, she was invited to illustrate the Permaculture Principles All-Ages Colouring Book for the Permaculture Women’s Guild, which is a free downloadable teaching tool.
Lucie would love to work on more books, websites, zines, or similar projects as a contributing artist. In particular, she would love to develop the “Glarfles” characters which were featured in the PWG colouring book project. They are kind, gender fluid goblins who love to explore their surroundings and learn everything they can about the world.
