PERMACULTURE KELOWNA (2017 - Present): Steward of Kelowna, BC's online Permaculture hub and the principal facilitator of the Kelowna Community Permaculture Design Certificate Course

PERMACULTURE WOMEN'S GUILD (2017 - Present): Co-teacher and module developer in the PWG Online PDC and Advanced Certificate in Social Systems Design taught by a faculty of 40 women from around the world; Online student mentor; Illustrator and co-writer of the Permaculture Principles All-Ages Colouring book (free download HERE)

PERMACULTURE EDEN (2015): Recipient of Permaculture Design Certificate and Natural Builder's Certificate (3-month full-time immersion)

LUND PERMACULTURE WORK GROUP (2013 - 15): Founder of a mentor-led meet up group that focused on providing free access to permaculture education for low-income students as part of the Lund Students for Sustainability organization

MANY RIVERS PERMACULTURE (2014): Researcher and intern; community asset map creator; social permaculture workshop presenter; blog contributor

OTHER:

  • Over the years, I have completed several workshops & seminars with well-known and respected permaculture teachers such as Toby Hemenway, Looby Macnamarra, and Delvin Solkinson

  • My partner and I spent 7 months in 2016 working on small-scale, permaculture-based community projects in France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland through the WWOOF Program

  • In 2016, I participated in the European Permaculture Convergence in Bolsena, Italy

  • In 2014, I participated in the European Permaculture Teacher's Convergence in Friland Ecovillage, Denmark

THE START FRESH PROJECT (2017 - Present): Project coordinator & curriculum developer for the Culinary Arts and Farm Education Program aimed at empowering people experiencing barriers to employment; course coordinator; principle grant writer; program outreach coordinator, part-time farm helper; trainings completed in Trauma Informed Practice and Board Governance

UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA, SCHOOL OF NURSING (2018 - 2019): Research and event coordinator for an inter-disciplinary project assessing gaps in services for temporary agricultural workers in BC.
